Gorgeous building, quiet location, very comfortable, tasty breakfast and dinner. Seemed popular for functions (there was a wedding and two big birthday parties over the weekend we stayed) though was still nice as a small group of friends.

Beautiful historical building. Lots of wood and amazing fire surrounds. Breakfast facilities were excellent and dining room. The staff are attentive and extremely polite and friendly. Everything was spotlessly clean and presented very nicely. We even had a film crew stay over for the day. All very exciting 😃 I was staying on my own in a hotel for the very first time but everyone at The Manor made it very easy for me. I can’t thank them all enough ,

Absolutely beautiful building. Lots of character, if needful of a little sprucing up here and there. Plenty of parking. We were in the Paddington room on the second floor of the main house. Good WiFi, plenty of hot water, and a little peeling paintwork. Relatively small room but with Nespresso, kettle, iron and ironing board, hairdryer. Staff can't do enough for you and are absolutely lovely.

The hotel is beautiful so are the grounds, the Christmas decorations were so pretty. breakfast was great well cooked and very tasty the service was very good too !! . Our room was plush and comfortable and so was the bed. The bar and atmosphere were lovely. We did'nt have dinner during our stay but judging by the breakfast i'm sure it would have been fantastic, food and service !! All the the staff were very friendly and helpful and they were what made our stay there so very good. We have stayed in a lot of four and five star hotels and i can honestly say they were the best team out of all of them ! . We will definitely stay there again and look forward to it !! Superb Hotel in a Fantastic Location, ideal for Elstree Aerodrome & Elstree Studios. Very Well Appointed Bedrooms & Gardens are nicely landscaped. Restaurant was impressive & Food was excellent. Would recommend as possibly the Best Hotel in the Elstree/Borehamwood/Watford Area.

Great, friendly, polite and down to earth staff. Very clean throughput. Wonderful food. Beautiful building, interior and grounds. Short walk to public transport links. Could not fault the experience. Many thanks to all the staff especially Marco and Agata who genuinely made our stay memorable and fun. Head chef Diogo - clever guy who knows what he is doing. Thank you so much. Me and my now wife booked hear for our wedding night. The staff were amazing helping to give us the best! stay. The staff went above and beyond to make our room look the best. They had decorated it with balloon's and confetti. We had heart shaped balloons, a huge love balloon and a Mr and Mrs balloon. They even made chocolate covered strawberries on a presentation dish with congratulation's spelt out in chocolate! The reception staff were out off this world. The building was out off this world! Unfortunately we over slept and missed breakfast! Hopefully next time we stay we wake up in time! All in all me and my wife would like to thank you all for making our stay THE BEST!

I had travelled with my daughter to London as she was due to have an operation the next day, so I didn't take in where I was booking at the time, just that it was near to the hospital. As soon as we drove up the grounds were beautiful and so quiet. Check in was quick and easy and welcome cool drink at reception of flavoured water. My jaw dropped when I saw how beautiful our room was and how large too. The decor was stunning, I cant say enough about how amazing the room was. See for yourself if you book here, I would highly recommend it. Can't comment on food as we didn't include breakfast as it was before 6am when we left. Breakfast is available here as is evening food and there are local pubs in area serving food too. There is also a light selection of room service for the evening if you prefer.

Firstly the look of the hotel was just magical for Christmas and inside was decorated so beautifully. Then we were met by Jason who was just the most amazing person to be greeted by. So full of energy, happiness and I couldn’t think of a better person to greet guests. He made our experience. We loved the decor, breakfast and whole calm countryside vibe of the hotel.
